Re cap on exposure - I remember that was confusing when starting, eg can't really use % if using the same number for STIRs and Metals.. but have considered a sector/type based cap %.
Currently using a single systematic rule - just an ATR floor based on historical market ranges.

Sector cap can definitely be advisable if you have a lot of markets in one specific sector vs only a few in another.
